This easy two ingredient peach sherbet recipe takes advantage of summer fruits and makes an easy and delicious frozen dessert perfect for summer or any season!
As summer is approaching its end, we've been trying to take advantage of all the fresh summer fruits like peaches and enjoying one of our favorite summer desserts, ice cream! One of my favorite flavors is peach sherbert, and I love it even more when I can make it myself with just two ingredients: frozen peaches and condensed milk. I got the idea from Martha Stewart' Peach Sherbet Recipe. She used fresh peaches in hers and just one cup of condensed milk. We made it a little different and easier with frozen peaches! Honestly we could not tell the difference between fresh and frozen! Check the recipe down below to make your very own peach sherbert recipe!
What do you need to make 2 ingredient peach ice cream?
This summertime favorite is now yours to enjoy! All you need to make this delightful peach sherbet are frozen peaches and a can of condensed milk! We've made easy 2 ingredient ice cream before with condensed milk and cream but never thought to add fruit! This is a lighter and healthier version of making condensed milk ice cream! You can literally add any fruits of your choosing. Frozen strawberries or any type of berries would be amazing!
You do need a high speed blender though since you'll be pureeing the frozen fruits and combining them with the condensed milk.
What other fruits can I use instead of making peach sherbert?
As w mentioned above, any berries like frozen strawberries or blackberries would be awesome! Or how about frozen pineapple chunks, or mango sherbert? Anything in the tropical fruit realm would be super delicious!
What tastes great with this easy frozen peach dessert?
- Toasted nuts or coconut on top would be amazing
- Drizzles of chocolate or caramel
